Rep Health | THIS IS US.
Our founder, Callen McGibbon, believes our health is the single most important thing we have in our lives, which is why he's made it his personal mission to help as many people as possible achieve it. While this mission has been the catalyst for creating Rep Health, it's certainly not how the story begins, and he doesn't do it alone…
he started Healthy Living in Sudbury, Ontario, over 20 years ago - an elite training and dynamic fitness center. While training a pair of professional hockey players bound for Europe, McGibbon began developing a tailored program that he still applies to clients today.
from people just seeking a better level of health and fitness, to people recovering and rehabilitating from injury to elite level athletes ( like Olympic gold medal women's hockey player Rebecca Johnston, and NHL hockey players: Leon Draisaitl and Nick and Marcus Foligno. )
Regardless of a client's level of fitness or health, McGibbon always devises a personal fitness plan that relies on precise measurements, methods, and adjustment to ensure clients achieve the goals that have been set.
Just prior to COVID, Callen started building a Physical/Health Education curriculum that has since been approved by school boards across the continent. He knew during the pandemic there would be less access for kids to make movement part of their day, and wanted to create a solution to bridge this gap. Because a healthy life means starting young on the road to healthy habits, he's woven the ability to help kids into the fabric that makes up Rep Health today.
When a corporate client enrolls in Rep Health, they can gift this curriculum to a post-secondary school of their choice. A way to pay it forward when it comes to spreading health.
The ability to apply this technology to a few local companies and uncover a need in the workplace caused the birth of the Rep Health wellness model. We learned the adoption of our wellness app lowered absenteeism, decreased the costs of disability insurance, and increased mental fortitude to name a few. Now Rep Health's sole focus is to consistently leverage data, machine learning, and AI to nurture healthy habits and sustainable lifestyle changes in the 5 areas of: body, movement, nutrition, mindset, and sleep and package this to companies in a way that integrates with their benefit plans and business model.
We ignite the corporate sector to foster happier, healthier lifestyles, which has a positive impact on the education sector.
We know that change requires planning, action, and persistence. It requires altering habits, beliefs or systems that may have been there for a long time. It pushes boundaries; and enables people to reach their fullest potential.
